Description
After about one year since i have registered myself here, i finale made it to submit a few drawings of myself.
First one: Portrait of Kirk Hammett from Metallica (one of my favorite musicale artists ). Finished in summer 2013!
I used:
- Faber castell Charcoal chalks and pencils
- Bristol paper, a little bit bigger than A3
- Blending stump, tissues and earbuds for blending
- Kneaded eraser, pen eraser
I unfornutatley have no real experience in photographing drawings, so i had a few troubles and it took a little time to get pictures which are resonably good engough for posting - but nevertheless I am not really happy with the result ( I struggled with the light reflexion etc - I guess that's a common problem if you are a beginner ). If anyone have some advices to get a good autentic photographs of drawings i would be very grateful!
Related to the drawing itself i have to admit that I still have to work on to get the proportions right even after over 10 years of drawing portraits .
Despite those issues I hope you like it anyway !
